Karine is not an artist, but she is an art lover who was introduced to the art world through her godmother, the artist Marianne Garnier. She was also previously married to the artist luc vandervelde lux. 

Creativity, out-of-the-box thinking is essential.

In recent years, Karine has also started up several Artistic Urban projects such as her own Bed & Breakfast in the city center of Brussels. This B&B of six spacious rooms has been designed by a different artist or art collective, each creating a unique and audacious interaction between living and art sure to surprise and delight guests.
